Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree Programme

The degree program is designated as doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). The professional DVM degree program of the faculty is based on a 20 week semester. The course extends over a minimum of six years for the University Matriculation examination (UME) candidates and five years for Direct Entry (DE) candidates. It comprises a pre-professional phase of one year duration and a professional phase of five year (DVM I – V) duration.

MSc PROGRAMME

All MSc students are expected to register and take five compulsory faculty-based courses with a total credit unit load of 16. Other departmental courses as recommended for the student by the Supervisor / Department based on the student’s area of specialization shall constitute a minimum of 14 units to make up the 30 credit units minimum load required for graduation.
